Christen Brown first became interested in arts in crafts as a child and teenager, immersing herself in classes that explored all manner of creative endeavors, including drawing, painting, ceramics, jewelry making, and sewing. She continued her education through El Camino College, Torrance, California, taking photography, design, lettering, and mixed-media classes. She has an AA in Fashion Design from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles, California.
