In this class, we are going to select either a chicken or a squirrel tea towel and put a hat on it! See the raccoon pictures for a small-scale version of what we'll be doing to our tea towels.
Attendees will learn at least four basic embroidery stitches, 3 ways to thread a needle, and two techniques for transferring design ideas onto the tea towel. I will have some hat designs ready to go, but designing your own hat is also an option.
We'll also explore how to determine the order of work when you're building a project from scratch.
Class is a total of four hours: Thursday October 1 & October 8 from 5:30 - 7:30
Please select which towel you would like - chicken or squirrel - the class fee includes the tea towel, an embroidery hoop, needles, and threads.
